Make Strides to Save Lives! Saturday, August 15, 2009 Organ and tissue donors and recipients, their families and friends are more than statistics or medical stories; they are our neighbors, our friends, our family and our community. For nearly 25 years, LifeBanc has helped to heal and save hundreds of thousands of lives in our community through the Gift of life. Come celebrate the Gift of Life at the 11th Annual Walk & Run. Registration begins at 7:30 am 10K and 5K runs will begin at 8:30 am. 1.5K walk will step off following the runners. Legacy Garden will be opened with a ceremony at 8:00 am. Kids Fun, Health & Fitness Area, Celebration for all The Gift of Life Walk and Run will be held again in the natural, serene setting of Blossom Music Center. There will be activities including the Legacy Garden which celebrates the lives of those touched by organ and tissue donation. Online registration is now closed. To pre-register for the Gift of Life Walk & Run, please contact Jillian Frazier at 216.820.4888. Adult Registration is $20; Children 12 and under is $10; Children under 3 are FREE!  An event t-shirt is available for $5.  Register by August 1 to guarantee a t-shirt.  T-shirts are not guaranteed to be available for purchase the day of the event. For the safety of the walk and run participants, please arrive prior to the start of the 10K and 5K runs. The Blossom Music Center drive will be closed during the running event.
