Lifebanc Earns Healthy WorkPlace Award

 

Lifebanc, as a first-time applicant, earned a Bronze Award level in the 2019 Healthy Worksite from the Healthy Business Council of Ohio.

The Healthy Worksite Award recognizes Ohio employers who demonstrate a commitment to employee wellness through comprehensive worksite health promotion and wellness programs. Applicants are scored on the extent their wellness programs facilitate and encourage employee health, enhance productivity, and ensure a healthy work environment.

Lifebanc, in conjunction with the Employee Wellbeing Committee, is committed to providing education and resources for staff to begin or maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Gordon Bowen, Lifebanc CEO commented, “We are excited to receive this recognition, but more importantly, to be able to provide our dedicated, hardworking staff with information and tools so they can take care of themselves and hopefully improve their health. We know it is important for each team member to be healthy so we can carry out our mission of saving and healing the lives of others.”

The awards ceremony will be held on January 23, 2020, at the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio, as part of the Health Action Council 2020 Annual Columbus Symposium. The symposium features national experts on health reform, health care systems, and health benefits.
