Dan Modlin has been part of the music business for some time. He was playing at one of his favorite places when a couple approached him after the set. They has sadly lost their young grandson in an accident, but they shared that he was able to help over 9 people through organ, eye, and tissue donation. Then they asked Dan if he could write a song about donation and the power to save lives. Dan was moved and couldn’t say “no”.
